Term 1 was a fantastic start to the year for all PE classes! A highlight was seeing Classes 2 to 6 continue the school's Learn to Swim program, culminating in a fun-filled Swimming Carnival. It was also wonderful to hear that Classes 1, 8, and 9 thoroughly enjoyed their Water Fun Day—what a great way to stay active and cool during the hotter months!

Each class has been engaged in different activities, building skills, and having fun along the way:

  • Class 1 focused on balancing, catching, passing, and skipping, with plenty of exciting tag games to keep them moving. Their energy and enthusiasm have been a joy to witness!
  • Class 2 worked on balance, catching, and passing skills, also incorporating tag games. It has been great to see them develop their abilities while enjoying the outdoors.
  • Class 3 strengthened their teamwork skills through rounders and group games while refining their balance through obstacle courses and a student favorite—Rock, Paper, Scissors Hopscotch.
  • Class 4 explored cricket and hockey, along with other fun activities like the beloved game of Narnia.
  • Classes 5 and 6 focused on preparing for Term 2's interschool sports by revisiting hockey while also enjoying activities like Netball Numbers, Archery, Golden Child, and Narnia.

Beyond physical skills, I am especially proud of the way all students have embraced important values such as honesty, fair play, engagement, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the term.

I look forward to seeing continued growth and development in Term 2 as we take on new challenges in PE.

Thank you, and all the best!
