CHPS National Tree Planting Day

Last week, on the 26th of June, it was CHPS's tree planting day.

Why do we plant trees? We need trees for oxygen, which we breathe and trees also give shelter and food to animals. They also make our school a more beautiful place to be and give us shade from the sun.

Thank you to all the classes and staff that were involved in planting  the new foliage. Just a reminder to not trample over any of the plants. It might be better to keep out of all garden beds.

We had:

260 students,

14 classes,

every year level

plant 73 plants in our school.

A HUGE thank you to staff member Melinda Wilson who planned the whole day and taught all the students so much.
