Band Information Night - Wednesday 19 November 6.30-8pm at RPS school hall
The RPS Band would like to invite all Roselea students currently in Years 2-5 who are interested in joining the school band in 2026 to come along to our Band Information Night. You and your child will have the opportunity to listen to each instrument in the band, try out the instruments, and to meet some of our tutors and our Band Director, Ms Jacinta.
RPS Bands Shine at the 2025 Hornsby North Band Festival (Sunday 2 November)!
On Sunday, our talented Training, Junior, and Concert Bands took to the stage—and delivered performances that truly dazzled! Under the inspiring leadership of Ms Jacinta, each RPS Band showcased incredible skill, passion, and teamwork.

To top it all off, our entire band was honoured with the prestigious Dr Stephen Capaldo Award for Musical Excellence—a testament to the dedication and artistry of our musicians.

Volunteers needed
The RPS Band Program is run by parent volunteers, and we have a few key volunteers leaving in December this year. We would love more people to be involved with the Band Committee to keep the program running smoothly. However, if we are unable to fill the essential positions of Secretary, Treasurer, and Convenor, the Band Program will unfortunately not be able to continue next year. These roles will need to be voted on at the next AGM at the end of November. If you’re able to help, please email us at roseleaband@gmail.com and we’ll get you some more information!
