2026 Prep Transition Sessions – Important Information
What to Bring:
All children will need to bring a sun-smart hat and a drink bottle each week.
Session 1: Pop into Prep
📅 Thursday 27th November 2025
🕘 9:00am – 11:00am
Our 2026 Prep students are invited to attend a fun two-hour “Pop into Prep” session. Families are welcome to come along with their child to meet Jenny and enjoy a school tour with the Principal.
Session 2: Prep Room Visit
📅 Thursday 4th December 2025
🕘 9:00am – 11:00am
All 2026 Preps will attend the Prep Room for another engaging transition experience.
State-wide Transition Day for 2026 Preps
📅 Tuesday 9th December 2025
🕘 9:00am – 1:00pm
This is the state-wide transition day and will be a longer session for our students. Children will participate in a normal half school day.
What to Bring:
- Snack
- Drink bottle
🥪 Lunch will be provided.
Children who travel by school bus to kinder are welcome to travel into school on the bus for Pop into Prep sessions.
2025 LCS Yearbook – Orders Now Open!
We’re excited to announce that orders for the 2025 LCS Yearbook are now open through the QKR app.
The yearbooks will be professionally printed over the school holidays and distributed to families who placed an order during the first week of Term 1, 2026.
Orders Close: 3pm Monday, 15th December
State School Relief Prep 2026 Summer CSEF Uniform Package
Applications are now open!
Eligibility
Students eligible to receive the Prep 2026 Summer Uniform Package must hold a valid/current health care card.
What’s in the package?
The Prep 2026 Summer Uniform Package contains the following items:
- $85 uniform voucher (Worklocker Echuca)
- Pants x 1 pcs (trackpants or shorts ) (provided by SSR)
Shoes x 1 pair (provided by SSR)
Cost to families
Where State Schools’ Relief is unable to provide a uniform item directly that contains a logo (due to contractual agreements with uniform retailers) the student will receive a voucher for $85 that subsidises the cost of these items. The voucher can be redeemed at your school uniform shop or independent uniform retailer.
Please note: vouchers do have an expiry date and must be used before this date.
How to apply
Download and complete attached application form, if you are unable to print you may collect from the school office. A copy of your health care card must be provided with your application.

2026 Grade 6 School Polo Top
Our Grade 6 students have the opportunity to purchase a special commemorative polo top to celebrate their final year at LCS! Each shirt will feature the names of all Grade 6 students printed on the back — a wonderful keepsake and a great way to remember their classmates and time at school.
Orders can be placed via the QKR app.

2026 Parent Payment Arrangements & 2026 Booklists
The Lockington Consolidated School Council has set the Voluntary Financial Contributions for 2026. Please review the recommended contributions listed on your XUNO dashboard.
2026 Booklists
The list of required items for the 2026 school year has been prepared by the school.
Your child will need these items ready for the start of Term 1, 2026.
Order Due Date: Friday, 19th December 2025
Order Method:
All orders must be placed online.
Instructions for ordering can be found on the last page of the relevant year level Parent Payment document, attached to the XUNO Latest News post titled“2026 Parent Payment Arrangements & 2026 Booklists.”
Important:
There will be no Book Collection Day.
Book packs for students whose families have completed payment will be distributed on the first day of Term 1, 2026.
Library Stocktake
As we prepare for our annual library stocktake, we kindly ask that all library books be returned to school.
The annual stocktake will take place on our Pupil Free Day – Thursday, 28th November.
Please ensure that all borrowed books are returned by this date. No further borrowings will be allowed for the remainder of the year.
