Farewell to Hayley

Our wonderful Bu Whelan is leaving us to try her luck away from teaching. Hayley's last official day will be Friday November 28th ( her last day with the students being Thursday November 27th).

Hayley has been our LOTE Indonesian Teacher for 5 years and has planned and taught lessons, organised special Indonesian events and days. She has made learning the the Indonesian Language and about the culture lots of fun.

This year Hayley joined us four days a week as she took over the part-time teaching role in 5/6A when Mrs Hon left. Hayley has also led our Student Action Team this year.

We will miss you Bu Whelan and we have some difficult shoes to fill, but we wish you all the very best for your next adventure.

Volunteer Thank You

We appreciate all of our volunteers who help keep our school ticking along. We appreciate you providing your time to work in our canteen, be a parent's club member, cover books, paint walls, make costumes, be on School Council and/or come along on our excursions/camps as a helper.

Boys To The Bush Program

Our ten participants had their final session yesterday. The boys have had an absolutely amazing time visiting local places of interest, learning about respect, engagement and community and trying some new activities that require perseverance and teamwork. We are so fortunate to have been given this opportunity through generous donations from the Moama Bowling Club and the Lockington Bamawm FNC.

School Council

Our final School Council Meeting for 2025 will be held on Tuesday November 25th at 6pm on site.

That is all for this week, Lisa Duffy.
