Welcome to our new 2025 Staff 

Hayley Hawet 

Hola a todos! My name is Hayley Hewat and I will be starting at Brinbeal College in 2025 as the Spanish Teacher and Leader of the Language Department. My teaching areas are Spanish and French, but I love all things language, learning, and technology.

I have lived in four different countries, travelled to over twenty countries, and can’t wait to explore more. When I’m not teaching you'll find me buried in a book, jamming to tunes, or cozying up with my two fabulous cats and lively puppy. Coffee and puns fuel my life, so brace yourselves for my pun-derful humour!

I’m buzzing with excitement to join the Brinbeal community and can’t wait to meet all you amazing folks!

Sophia Potter

Hello! My name is Sophia Potter and I am really excited to be joining the Brinbeal Secondary College team!

I am beyond thrilled to be teaching English, health and PE in a Permission To Teach position as I finish my final semester of my double degree (Bach of Secondary Education & Exercise Science). I look forward to creating an inclusive environment for all to flourish, learn and grow! 

Aside from teaching, I love spending my spare time at the beach, with a paddle-board, friends and family. I absolutely love travelling and can’t wait to see more of the world!
