Classroom Cooking

On Thursday Oct 9th, Miss Coffey, Maddi and the students whipped up some banana muffins as well as some apple and cinnamon muffins. We used the eggs from our chickens and some supplies from Brekky Club. Lots of fun was had by all!
We talked about why some ingredients might be optional, what the difference between SR and plain flour is, why it's important to wash our hands thoroughly before cooking (and eating) and how cooking your own sweet treats is so simple, cost effective and potentially better for you to eat as there are less preservatives.
