Senior Report

This week we have been learning a large range of things in different subjects:

In Literacy we have been reading Charlotte's Webb and are beginning to write our own narratives based off the same storyline of two unlikely farmhouse friends.
The students have finished learning about Length and have now been introduced to Mass this week in Maths. The student have completed an Essential Assessment and will begin to learn all about Mass next week - exciting times!
In Art we learnt about Keith Haring who painted animated figures on public walls, and he dedicated his career to making art accessible through public murals. We completed our own mural on the chalk board in the outdoor classroom.
In AUSLAN we learnt about numbers with Miss. Deane.
With Miss Coffey and Megan we learnt different calming techniques.
We have also been focusing on our learning goals and would love to share these with you. Students each have a literacy, numeracy and social goal!
Finally we helped Mr. Lehane clean Harry's tank.
