Laura Dixon - Administration Assistant

Why did you decide to join Mullauna? 

I wanted to be in a team again, a productive and collaborative team. 

What was your last place of employment?

My last role was as a Pre Site Administrator with a building industry in a team that weren’t interviewing for friends, it wasn’t fulfilling at all, so being here is both refreshing and rewarding.

What do you love most about being in Admin?

It is NEVER boring, the pace and the amount of different roles you work through daily keeps me on my toes.

What has been one of your best moments?

As a past parent of Mullauna, all my moments have really been through my girls, so to be here making my own now is exciting. I have been welcomed with open arms and supported in every way. Getting to know all of the kids and learning their names is challenging and rewarding when you get it right.

What would be 3 things that you would like the students to know about you?

I am an Interior Designer and love Renovating, I love Camping and am not often without Music (all types of music …but metal…not metal 😊) but Country is my favourite.

Where is your favourite holiday destination?

I love Camping anywhere, but my favourite destination to date was NASHVILLE!!

What TV show/series did you last binge watch? 

Younger and The Bold Type

If you could wear Harry’s invisibility cloak for one day, where would you go and what would you do?   That’s Harry Potter’s cloak not Harry Ruff’s cloak 😊

I would sneak into Concerts for Free…check out all of the best vantage points, the mosh pit AND most importantly backstage with the band!!!

What is the one piece of ‘advice’ or the one thing that you would like the students to hold onto?

Don’t Grow Up It’s a Trap! And what I mean by that is you are living in one of the best Era’s of your life and you have no idea! So embrace it and enjoy it and make the most of it!
