Seussical Kids was a triumph last week! The students enjoyed sharing their performance skills as they danced, acted and sang the story of Dr Seuss’s Horton the Elephant. The performers deserve to be congratulated.
Both the cast and audience enjoyed cameo performances from Mr Moore, Mrs Wilkinson and Mrs Di Stefano who surprised everyone with their appearance!
Anyone who missed Season 1, is warmly invited to Seussical Kids Season 2 on the 9th and 10th of September, featuring a whole new cast!

Last Thursday night, three of our bands represented the College at the regional rock band event, “The Best of British School Bands Extravaganza”. Bands, Radium, Dented Ditz and Hit by the Sun, performed with excellence.

The VCE Drama class entertained and challenged the audience with their performance last Friday evening. The students were tasked to create, rehearse and perform a production that reflected their research into the theme – Change.
Mr Myles Collins arranged for three VCE examiners to attend. They provided valuable feedback. The performances contribute to the students’ subject assessment.

Congratulations to the Little Big Band who performed at Middle School Assembly last week. With the growing number of student participants, the ensemble may need a name change!

Year 9 Jazz Band performed at Year 9 Assembly for the first time last week. The members of the band displayed an impressive skill standard.

Two additional names have been added to the Music Recognition Board. Congratulations to Chen Y and Jeanine L who both achieved success in the Australian Music Examination Board’s Grade 8 Piano exam.
