Palmer's Gym Sessions 2 and 3
On Wednesday 27th and Sept 3rd, we had our second and third gymnastics sessions with Sally and Emma. It has been great to see students continuing to become more confident, all whilst developing their skills as each session progresses. We have learnt a variety of new rolling techniques, including the 'sausage', 'forward' and 'egg'. The Ninja Course continues to be a student favourite, even though some of the sections are exceptionally tricky and require lots of persistence and practice.
Highlights from week 2 and 3's sessions-
Pickleball Session 2
Wednesday 27th of August saw us head to La Trobe University's stadium for session number 2. We continued to develop our skills through a number of fun games, including 'Popcorn' and 'The Floor is Lava'.
A big thank you to Brendon and Grant for hosting us and helping us to learn more about the game. We look forward to coming back again next year!

Baseball/T-ball
On the beautiful Spring morning of Sept 3rd, we met Jayson at the Albert Roy Rec Reserve in Eaglehawk for a morning baseball/t-ball session. Jayson helped us to learn some of the basics of the game like throwing and catching, stopping a rolling ball and hitting. We played/did lots of smaller games/activities to help develop some of the important skills needed to play a game of baseball/t-ball.
A special thanks to Seb Smith and Jayson Strahan from the Falcons Baseball Club for making this session possible, and for volunteering your time and effort to run the program free of charge. The kids and staff who attended had an awesome 90-minute session! Especially Miss Coffey who LOVED getting to hit the balls you pitched to her.
We hope to make this experience a regular yearly event!
FINAL GYMNASTICS SESSION DETAILS-
