Production

Tickets

Thank you to the school community for supporting the production and purchasing their tickets this week. If you are yet to purchase yours, there are still a few available at the time of publishing, but be quick as they are selling very quickly.

Rehearsal Day

On the day of Thursday 26th of June, all students from Prep to 6 will attend a full rehearsal at George Wood Performing Arts Centre. This is an exciting day where students can get up on the stage, under the lights and prepare for their big performance. The event will be shared on Compass early next week for families to provide permission. No costumes are required for the rehearsal.

Performance Night

Students will need to arrive at the theatre at 6.15pm to go backstage. Further information will be provided closer to the date regarding drop off points. Students will arrive wearing their costumes and be given any school provided pieces once at the theatre.

The doors will be open from 6.30pm to allow the audience to be settled for a 7pm sharp start. We anticipate that the production will conclude by 8.30pm. Rolling Hills PS students will be backstage for the duration of the performance, watching on screens. Pick up information will be shared closer to the date.

The Next Day

We understand that students will be up later on the night of the production. As such, no new concepts will be covered at school the following morning.

Costumes for Students

A notice will be out early next week outlining what needs to be provided for students to wear for the production. We have tried to keep items simple and easy to access. School will also provide specialty pieces for each student.

Sewing Costumes

A big thank you to the members of our school community who have volunteered to assist with costumes. It is greatly appreciated. If you are handy with a sewing machine or needle and thread and have a little time to spare, please let us know. We would love to have you.

Kind regards
