YEAR 9 FOOD TECHNOLOGY

CAT 2 for Year 9 Food & Technology involved students focusing on a range of questions including-
What food groups do we need to eat?
What nutrients are in the different food groups?
Are there foods we should limit? Why?
How do you make healthy choices within the food groups?
What foods are included in a healthy lunchbox for an adolescent?
Students enjoyed preparing a nutritious lunchbox during a practical session in the kitchen that followed the Australian Guide to Healthy Eating.
