Library Borrowing & Returns

Students can borrow up to 5 books at a time, for a 2 week duration.  Reminder emails, notices on Compass, and TEAMS messages are sent to students when books are overdue, prompting them to return or renew.

We do not charge overdue fees, but long overdue books (months) will incur a replacement fee, and parents will be contacted via Compass 'events' regarding this.

Book Bites Book Club (Tuesday lunchtimes) students  have chosen to read 'a novel set in Australia' for our theme this term - looking forward to seeing what everyone chooses.  We are also visiting 'Stories by the Sea Bookshop' to hear about the running of a bookshop and select some new titles for our Library collection.

Library Lunchtimes

We always have lots happening the Library - especially on these colder days.  Thank you to all students who are able to keep themselves engaged with the many activities on offer.  Chess and Uno competitions will be offered again later this term.

Would you Rather...?

'Would you rather...?' is our new weekly question - amusing dilemmas that may or may not change your thinking!! Pop into the Library and cast your vote 'A' or 'B' each week.  Our first dilemma was 'Would you rather... Change the Past or Foresee the Future?' with the majority opting to 'change the past'.  Our new dilemma (10-15th August) is 'Would you rather... Be Super Strong or Be Super Fast?'
