Online Auction

P+F hosted a wonderful Parent Night at Sonder on Saturday 26 August. Together with the online auction, we have raised over $7,000 for the Year 3 and 4 Playground Equipment upgrade project.

An enormous thank you to Amy Ashford for all her work organising the event and the online auction. It is a lot of work and we thank her for all her time and energy in creating an amazing night and a terrific fundraiser.

Thank you also to Kathy Litaridis, Natasta Bodek, Esther Shwarzman and Arthur Lin for hitting the pavement and asking our local businesses to support our online auction.

Also thank you to Anita and Dave Campbell and Jo Feather for the use of their Holiday houses in our online auction.

Upcoming P&F Meeting Dates - All Welcome!

Being involved with the P&F is a wonderful way to meet other members of the Ormond PS community. We are fortunate to have a strong Parents and Friends Association, which helps run events at the school that foster a sense of belonging and community, while also raising much needed funds for the school.

We meet in the Staff Room at 7:30pm. Please feel free to come and join a meeting on the following dates:

3 October
14 November (due to Cup Day)
5 December

2nd Hand Uniform News - Donation Bin

We are pleased to inform our school community that we now have a 2nd Hand Uniform Donation Bin, located in the Library.

The blue bin is the best place to donate any good condition, washed and folded school uniforms and accessories. Please only donate good condition new style school bags with working zips. We unfortunately can no longer accept the old style school bags.

Can you help?

We are always looking for new fundraising ideas and would love your input! You might have some great examples of fundraising or events at other schools that you would like to share with us. Perhaps you have specialist skills and you are willing to donate your time – we are always looking for people with fundraising or events experience, people who have graphic design skills and social media specialists.
