Thank You and Update from Aimee

Dear Families,
Thank you for your support and understanding during my recent sick leave. Your kindness and encouragement have meant a great deal to me. When you are going through difficult times, the kindness shown by those around you helps keep you going and boosts your spirits. I am so lucky to be part of such a caring and supportive community.
A huge thank you for the generous gift of a gardener. I must admit that during this time the garden hasn't been a priority so it will greatly benefit from the support that the families of COHR have provided.
I also thank the staff for stepping up in my absence. It is a great comfort knowing that the school is in good hands.
The surgery went well and I believe that they were able to remove all the cancer. Initial tests indicate that it has not spread to the lymph nodes. I am recovering slowly and I am taking it one day at a time. I am beginning to build up strength by going on short walks.
I am looking forward to returning in the last week of school and seeing everyone's smiling faces.
With much love,
Aimee
