What a Wonderful Arts Showcase It Was!
What a fantastic evening we shared on Friday night! Our annual Arts Festival Showcase was a vibrant celebration of creativity, imagination and talent- a true reflection of the wonderful learning happening across the arts at Lakeside College.
From the moment families stepped through the doors, they were greeted by a stunning array of artwork, music, baking and performance — each piece telling a story of growth, exploration and expression. The hallways were transformed into galleries, bursting with colour and creativity, showcasing everything from intricate paintings and sculptures to collaborative installations inspired by our students’ studies this year.
The performances throughout the evening were equally inspiring. Our young musicians filled the basketball court with beautiful harmonies. Each performance was a testament to the hard work, dedication and enthusiasm of our students -and the guidance and passion of their teachers.
Events like this remind us just how powerful the arts are in bringing a community together. They give our students a voice, a means to express who they are and a platform to share their learning in creative and meaningful ways.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made the night such a success — our students, teachers, families and volunteers. Your support and encouragement make moments like these truly special.

Congratulations to Our Best in Show Winner!
We’re thrilled to announce that Nisinu ( Year 8 ) has been awarded Best in Show and named the Overall Prize Winner at our Arts Festival held last Friday!
His creativity, passion and artistic vision truly captured the spirit of the festival and left everyone in awe.
Congratulations also to all our other place winners, your fantastic entries made the night a truly special celebration of talent and creativity.
A huge thank you to everyone who took part and supported the event, what an incredible showcase of art and community spirit!
