Year 11 Wellbeing Day – Growing Together at Lakeside College

Our Year 11 students recently took part in their final Wellbeing Day, rounding off a three-part series that’s been running over the past two years. These days have given students a chance to pause, reflect and focus on their own growth and connections with others – an important part of life at Lakeside College.

The day was led by The Man Cave and The Big Sister Experience, two highly regarded organisations working to support young people. Their workshops encouraged students to think about self-awareness, empathy, respect and leadership in a supportive and engaging way.

The presenters were genuinely excited to be back at Lakeside College. They spoke about how much they enjoy working with our students, seeing their confidence grow and their sense of connection strengthen each time they visit.

The students also raised funds for Australian Lutheran World Service, showing their care and compassion for others in need.

It was a wonderful day of learning, laughter and reflection – and a fitting way to celebrate just how far our Year 11 students have come on their wellbeing journey.
