Jayden Cole
Shines in Hong Kong International Wrestling Competition
Congratulations to Jayden Cole, who recently represented WA and NSW at the 6th Hong Kong International Camp and Competition and won Gold in the Senior 65kg division.
Jayden dominated his way to the final with a first-round win by fall and a semi-final victory by technical superiority. In an exciting gold medal match, he staged a remarkable comeback after trailing 8-0, ultimately winning by fall against a multiple-time Chinese provincial junior champion!
This outstanding achievement has opened up opportunities for Jayden to pursue future Australian representative pathways in freestyle wrestling. We congratulate Jayden on his dedication, determination and success on the international stage!
