ONE WEEK TO BOOK WEEK
Book Week Character Parade –
Monday 24th August
Our Book Week Parade is happening on Monday 24 August, and we are SO excited to see our school community come together to celebrate this year’s theme
There is so much happening throughout Book Week, with plenty of fun, creativity and a few surprises along the way!
What’s coming up?
- A Book Week Scavenger Hunt around the school
- A Library Scavenger Hunt packed with clues and surprises
- A Book Cover Design Competition
- A Design a Bookmark Competition with the winning design printed and handed out to students across the school
And… Ms Bookworm is BACK! She’s returning in a brand-new outfit and is ready to join in the Book Week fun. But what adventures will she get up to this year? You’ll have to keep your eyes peeled to find out!
The library windows and displays have had a Symphony of Stories makeover, with books, music, characters and imagination taking over the library. And you never know… you might even spot some of our teachers and staff getting into the Book Week spirit! Come and see who you can find.
Book Week is one of the biggest and most exciting weeks of the year in our library, and this year is shaping up to be extra special.
We can’t wait to celebrate the magic of books, the joy of reading, the power of imagination and the wonderful stories that bring us all together.
Let the Symphony of Stories begin!
AUTHOR VISIT - FIONA HARRIS
