Student Leader Reports

Year 9 Captain's Report
It’s been an exciting and stressful couple of weeks, mostly for the 2027 Year 7s and this year’s Year 12s. On the 15th of October, the Year Level Leaders had the pleasure of addressing our soon-to-be Year 7s at their information night. There, we spoke about some exciting and important things to expect from their first year of high school. There were a lot of new, nervous faces, but by the end of the night, everyone was laughing and having a good time.
On the other end of the scale, however, things are getting a bit more serious now. After many tears were shed at their final assembly, the Year 12s have been studying hard, preparing vigorously for their upcoming exams. We wish you all the best of luck and know you will do great in any path you decide to take!
And, finally, sitting comfortably in the middle of all the madness, the Year 9s have been doing Community Connections. Every Wednesday, half of the GOAL groups go to the local primary schools to help out and connect with the community, while the other half work hard to prepare for the upcoming Market Day. Here, there will be all sorts of things available, from things like Greek donuts to inclusive party games, with all our proceeds going straight to the RSPCA, resulting in a fun and exciting time for everyone.
All in all, it has been an emotional roller coaster the last couple of weeks. From excitement to sadness to joy and stress, it was definitely an experience we’ll all remember. And, once again, we wish you the best of luck, Year 12s. You've got this! 😊
