Year 4 Camp

An Unforgettable Camp Adventure at The Ranch!
Our students had an amazing time at The Ranch, creating wonderful memories, trying new experiences and discovering just how much they could achieve when they challenged themselves!
Throughout camp, students took on exciting activities including the giant swing, flying fox and rock climbing. While some activities pushed students outside their comfort zones, it was fantastic to see them give things a go, encourage one another and keep going when things felt challenging. Every student demonstrated resilience in their own way, whether it was taking that first brave step, having another attempt or celebrating a friend's success. We couldn't be prouder of the courage, determination and positive attitudes they showed!
Meal times were another special part of camp. We gathered in the chapel, a beautiful old church that has been converted into a dining space. Sharing meals together gave students plenty of opportunities to talk, laugh and enjoy each other's company after busy days of adventure.
A huge thank you must go to the amazing staff at The Ranch, who made every activity fun, engaging and memorable. Their enthusiasm, encouragement and support helped our students feel safe enough to challenge themselves and make the most of every opportunity.
We would also like to extend a very special thank you to Mr Scott Kardas, Bella's dad, for volunteering his time to attend camp, and to our amazing ES staff member, Jai Allman, who joined the Year 4 team for the camp experience. We are incredibly grateful to both Scott and Jai for their time, support and enthusiasm in helping make camp such a positive and memorable experience for our students.
And, of course, we couldn't leave without a memorable finale! Our departure conga line dance was the perfect way to finish camp, with plenty of laughter, dancing and smiles all around.
We returned to school with tired bodies, happy hearts and stories to share. Most importantly, we came home knowing that our students are capable of so much more than they sometimes realise. They showed resilience, independence, kindness and teamwork throughout the experience, and they should feel incredibly proud of themselves.
Well done, everyone! You made this camp one to remember.
