“You can find magic wherever you look. Sit back and relax, all you need is a book!”
— Dr. Seuss
WHAT AN AMAZING RESULT!
A HUGE thank you to our wonderful Karoo families for supporting our Scholastic Book Fair.
Our goal was to reach $1,500 in sales so we could earn Scholastic Rewards and purchase exciting new resources for our school library.
Well, Karoo, you absolutely blew it out of the water!
Together, we raised over $3,000 in sales!
Your incredible support means we can bring even more wonderful books and resources into our library for our students to enjoy.
Thank you to everyone who purchased books, donated books to the library, supported the fair and helped make it such a success.
A special thank you to our staff and KPA volunteers who gave their time to help everything run smoothly in particular Sarah Elliott, Rhi Fogel, Elaine Harris and Carmen Nayagar.
If we had to order a book in for you, these will be delivered sometime in the next fortnight.
Every book makes a difference, and together we're growing a love of reading at Karoo!
What an incredible effort, Karoo!
Together, our students read an amazing 6,454 books as part of this year’s Premier’s Reading Challenge. Well done to everyone who participated, challenged themselves and discovered new stories along the way!

Congratulations to Mia K (4D) for her winning book mark design. These have been printed and handed out to all classes.
