Easter
He is Risen! Celebrating the Joy of the Resurrection
While the chocolate eggs may have disappeared and the school holidays are a memory, in the Catholic Church, Easter is just beginning! We are currently in the Easter Octave, a period of fifty days where we celebrate the greatest miracle of our faith: Jesus rising from the dead.
Keeping the Spirit Alive
How can your family keep the Easter spirit going this month? Here are a few simple ideas:
- Practice Gratitude: At dinner, ask each family member to share one "Alleluia moment" from their day—something that brought them joy.
- Acts of Service: Easter is about love in action. Find a small way to help a neighbour or a local charity this week.
- Nature Walks: Look for signs of new life in your backyard or local park as a reminder of God’s creation.
We are so grateful for our wonderful school community. May the peace and joy of the Risen Christ be with you and your families throughout this beautiful season.
