EASTER HAT PARADE - Thursday 4th April

Gallery Image

To coincide with our fabulous Easter Raffle at the end of the term, we will also be holding the much loved Easter Hat Parade! All students will be able to showcase their own Easter Hat creation, parading at our final term assembly on Thursday 2nd April. It might be as simple as a paper headband decorated with Easter pictures and colourings or perhaps something more elaborate with Easter Eggs or Bunnies. Either way, let your imagination run wild and see what egg-cellent head wear you can create!

Here are some templates to create your own hats at home:

RECONCILIATION ACTION PLAN GROUP

Join Our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) Group

Our school is continuing its commitment to reconciliation through the development and implementation of our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP).

A RAP is a structured framework that supports schools to build respectful relationships and create meaningful opportunities with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. It guides us in embedding First Nations perspectives into our learning, strengthening cultural understanding, and taking practical steps toward reconciliation within our school community.

We are currently inviting parents and carers to join our RAP Working Group. Being part of this group involves contributing ideas, supporting initiatives, and helping shape the actions we prioritise throughout the year. Meetings will be held at least twice per term, often during school time, and all perspectives and levels of experience are welcome.

You do not need any prior knowledge of reconciliation work - simply a willingness to learn, listen and contribute to building a culturally respectful and inclusive school environment.

If you are interested in being involved or would like to learn more, please contact the school office or email dylan.trenwith@education.vic.gov.au.

We would love to have a diverse range of voices represented in this important work.

Together, we can continue to create a school community that values respect, understanding and meaningful action.

Kind regards,

Dylan Trenwith
