Gippy Girls Can
As part of the Latrobe City Council “Gippy Girls Can” initiative, Moe Swimming Club is hosting a “Come and Try” swimming night next Friday the 18th of September. It will be held at the Moe Newborough Leisure Centre for women and girls to give swimming a go!
We will have female only coaches on deck to give everyone a few tips and have a bit of fun!
Help your learner get on the road with a free driving lesson!
The myLearners Free Driving Lesson program offers a FREE 60-minute Lesson with a professional driving instructor for learners aged 16–21 who have completed 10–50 hours of driving practice. The lesson is taken alongside their supervising driver, helping both the learner and supervisor build safer, more confident driving habits together.
This program supports families by making the learning experience more positive and less stressful. It aims to reduce crash risks for young drivers, strengthen supervising skills and encourage safer driving behaviours early on, all at no cost to participants.

School Holiday Basketball — 3x3 Gippsland Street Hustle
Warragul Basketball Association is hosting a one-day 3x3 basketball tournament these school holidays and all students are welcome — no club or representative experience required.
3x3 is the fast, half-court version of basketball played at the Olympics. Teams are just three or four players, games run for ten minutes and there are divisions for boys and girls from Under 9s through to Under 19s.
When: Wednesday 30 September, 9am – 5pm
Where: Warragul Leisure Centre, 21 Burke Street, Warragul
Cost: $120 per team (3–4 players), plus a $25 national 3x3 Hustle Pass per player
Entries close: 9am Monday 28 September

Saver Plus Program
Saver Plus is a free, 10-month program that provides eligible participants the opportunity to receive matched savings from ANZ for every dollar they save, once they have completed the program (up to $500 for education items, such as school uniforms, computers and textbooks).
Saver Plus was developed by ANZ and the Brotherhood of St Laurence in 2003 and is delivered in partnership with The Smith Family and Berry Street Yooralla. It is funded by ANZ and Department of Social Services.
To be eligible for Saver Plus, you must meet all of the following criteria:
- Be 18+ years old
- Have a Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card
- Receive an eligible Commonwealth social security benefit, allowance or payment*
- Be in school yourself OR have a child in school (can be starting school next year)
- Have regular income from work (either yourself or your partner, or receive a carers payment, child support payment, cash in hand or Workcover payment)
