Middle School News

Upper Primary (Years 5-6)
Upper Primary students have had a busy fortnight. Students were rewarded for their great efforts throughout the Term with a trip to Sun Theater to watch any early screening of The Pout-Pout Fish. Students had a great time watching the movie and eating their popcorn. On Friday 14th November, students participated in Sports Day. They enjoyed engaging in a variety of different sporting activities including tug of war, high jump, obstacle course and an egg and spoon race. All students demonstrated the Jackson School values throughout the event.
Lower Secondary (Years 7-8)
In the last few weeks, Year 7 and 8 students have successfully completed all their assessments! This achievement marks a significant milestone in the students’ growth as we approach the end of the school year.
As part of our Travel Education program, students participated in some of their last excursions of the year, including trips to Pacific Werribee, Flagstaff Gardens, and Sunshine Plaza. These outings provided valuable learning opportunities, while also allowing students to explore, collaborate, and create lasting memories.
With 7/8 students fully engaged in wrapping up their learning, our focus now shifts to the exciting activities that accompany the end of the year. Students are enthusiastically preparing for the school concert, planning holiday activities, and helping with classroom pack-up. We commend their energy, teamwork, and commitment as they transition into the holiday season and reflect on a year filled with growth, achievement, and new experiences.
