National Youth Parliament

This national initiative invites 16-17-year-olds to Canberra for a fully funded, five-day immersive program at Australian Parliament House and the Museum of Australian Democracy, where they will engage in mock parliamentary debates, policy workshops, and discussions with political leaders. No prior experience is required - just curiosity, commitment, and a desire to learn.

Understanding how our democracy works empowers young people to shape it for the better. This program will have a lasting impact on participants and the communities they represent.
