Violin and Piano Teacher - Mrs Ange Hempenstall 

I have been playing violin for 25 years, and piano for even longer! I started playing in church band at the age of 10, and have played music around the world. I did my music grades through Trinity College London, have been in a chamber orchestra, play at weddings, festivals and events. I am also in an Irish band and have recorded many songs with different people and groups, including for ABC radio.

The coolest place I have played violin is on a tall ship sailing at night!  I love teaching and composing my own music for others to play. My motto is to keep it fun!

Itinerant Music Lessons (Repeat)

SCC offers a fantastic opportunity to improve musicianship and to receive lessons on an instrument through specialists in their field.

The cost per lesson is $30.00 with lessons held during school time and payment is per term. Please email the College office admin@scc.tas.edu.au and provide the following information:

• Your child’s name and instrument
• Previous experience
• Mobile phone number

Students may start lessons at any time in the year!
