Sustainability and Food Waste

The Year 7 and 8 Foods and Textiles classes are learning about 'Sustainability and Food Waste' this term. We are also preparing for the upcoming Makers' Market in Term 4, honing our craft skills. Students have been designing and creating items such as crocheted beanies, snack and soup mixes in jars, felt-ball car deodorisers, hair scrunchies, tote-bags, and even simple lip balms. They are also continuing their weekly cooking in small groups, learning to cook foods that are great for using up leftovers and reducing waste. Thank you for all your support!
