From The Team

What a fantastic fortnight in 3/4!

It’s been another amazing two weeks for the 3/4 students at Scoresby Primary School! Our days have been packed with creativity, collaboration and community fun — from rock painting and design projects, to a sausage sizzle and a special visit from Ned’s Resiliency Ride.

As part of our Clubs sessions, we had a great time finishing off our rock decorations. It was wonderful to see the unique ideas and creativity on display. We’re excited to place these colourful pebbles in the garden bed near our building to brighten up the space.

Our design projects have also been full of imagination. Students have been building obstacle courses for a mini Sphero to navigate — thank you to all the families who helped collect recycled materials! We’ve now reached the exciting phase of using block coding to program our Spheros through the courses.

Last Friday, the school was buzzing with excitement as we wrapped up the day with a sausage sizzle and giant inflatable obstacle course! This fun event was organised by DS Sports, who run our before- and after-school care program. A big thank you to them for such a memorable afternoon!

Finally today, we finished the week with a whole-school wellbeing event: Ned’s Resiliency Ride. We’ll tell you all about it in our next newsletter — stay tuned!

We hope you all have a safe and happy weekend!
