Anglicare Victoria is a small team that engages with members of the community interested in becoming foster carers. Foster carers provide safe homes for children who are not able to live safely in their own homes due to protective and welfare concerns.

We are continuing our efforts to recruit foster carers within the western region and are hoping to raise awareness of foster caring within local networks.

We are wondering if you might be willing to please include one of the attached files (and if possible, the bolded text below) in an upcoming school newsletter and to also share with your employee cohort. 

If the school community was interested in any other general information material like A3 posters for the staff room, or postcard flyers that could be kept at the front desk, we would gladly make these available to you as well.

There is a strong need for more local foster carers who can provide nurturing and supportive homes for children not able to live safely in their own family homes and there are a range of ways people can support children and young people as carers.
