PSA Chess Competition Results

On Friday of Week 2 six Trinity students went and attended the PSA chess competition. The team was a selection of year 10 year nine and year seven students. Although they came sixth, they showed some very promising signs for the potential of this team in the years to come.

Not only did the six boys attend and compete and they also did it with humility respect and a love for the game. So much so that three extra boys also attended just to support their mates. I look forward to seeing this group progress over the next few years and really Challenge themselves and the competition to take out The PSA chess competition one day. Also, congratulations to Christ Church for taking out the title this year.

Congratulations to the following students:

  • Akash A
  • Sudhit K
  • Chenxi S
  • Henry C
  • Blessmore M
  • Mason K
  • Joachim Y
  • Casper Y
  • Inuk R

Thank You to Our Sponsors and Supporters

A Message from Friends of Football

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported our Newsletter Quiz Night, which raised over $15,000. This fantastic result would not have been possible without the generosity of our sponsors, those who attended on the night, and the many generous donations from across the football community.

We would especially like to acknowledge and thank our sponsors: Ace Plumbing, Langdon Travel, Mazda, Maddington Toyota, Icon Conveyancing, Carpet Court, Spyda Construction, Kailis Pearls.

Your kindness and support are appreciated and will make a real difference. Thank you for helping make the Quiz Night such a wonderful success.

A special thank you also goes to the Trinity Grounds staff for setting up the flags for the boys to run through, helping create a memorable and exciting moment for everyone involved.

We would also like to thank Ryan Redfern and Ryan Lockyer for listening to our suggestions and embracing new ideas as we continue working to make the Trinity Football community more inclusive. We hope that, through FOF, we have helped achieve this with initiatives such as the purchase of grandstand seating, Trinity-branded coaches' boards, sports bags, and bibs. These are just some of the positive initiatives we have been proud to support this year. To Mel Dunn and Jo Creighton for helping us with events and the design the record for home games, your time and effort is unwavering.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to all coaching staff, both internal and external, for taking the time to coach, guide, and support the boys throughout the season.

Most of all, we would like to thank the parents and family members who continually put their hands up to help, whether by supplying fruit and lollies for their teams, volunteering at the BBQ and fundraising events, attending Thursday night dinners at Waterford, or sending in photos from the games. Without your time, generosity, and ongoing support, we could not be the strong and functioning football community that we are.

A thank you does not come close to expressing how grateful we are for the time, effort, and generosity you have all given throughout the year.

Warm regards,

Friends of Football Committee
