Environmental Jobs Available

Ethan Mullholland landed his first job out of university, and it’s probably not what you’d expect for an environmental science grad. As a Graduate Environmental Advisor at Mawsons, Ethan spends his days flying drones and mapping land disturbance across quarry sites in Victoria and New South Wales.

If you picture environmental careers, you might think of charities, national parks, or government departments. Quarries? Probably not. But Ethan’s experience might just change your mind.

Stride Early Learning are keen to support young people in our local community, and they want to introduce a new opportunity that might be a great fit for Trinity students.

Stride Early Learning operate several early learning centres across Perth, and they are launching a new Traineeship Program.

The program gives students aged 17 and over, currently in Year 11, Year 12, or a VET course, a genuine, hands-on introduction to a career in early childhood education and care. Trainees rotate across every part of a centre, from the learning rooms through to leadership, operations, and programming, so they get a real feel for the sector before making a long-term commitment.

A few of the highlights:

  • Paid from day one
  • Choice of full-time or part-time involvement
  • A choice of centres to apply to
  • No prior experience required, just a genuine interest in working with children
  • A supported pathway to a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, at no cost to the student
  • A structured 12 to 24-month traineeship, starting with a three-month settling-in period
