Student Achievement

One of the great privileges of working in our school community is witnessing the growth and development of our students. Every boy is on their own unique journey, and it is encouraging to see so many boys embracing opportunities to learn, improve, and achieve their personal best. 

At Trinity we celebrate the Spirit of excellence. Excellence is not about being better than others; rather, it is about continually striving to be the best version of ourselves. It is found in the student who perseveres through a challenging learning task, the boy who shows commitment to his team, the musician who practises diligently, or the student who serves others with kindness and humility. 

We are fortunate to have students with a wide range of talents and interests. Whether their passions lie in academics, the arts, sport, service, leadership, or other areas of school life, success is built on similar foundations: hard work, commitment, resilience, and a willingness to fully engage in the opportunities before them. 

As a Junior School, we encourage every boy to challenge himself, set meaningful goals, and take pride in his efforts. Personal growth comes when students step outside their comfort zones, learn from setbacks, and remain determined in their pursuit of improvement. These are valuable life skills that will serve them well both now and into the future. 

As has been communicated throughout the year, 2026 is an exciting year for the Junior School as we introduce the Attribute Point Average (APA) in our formal reports. At Friday’s Junior School Assembly, we recognised 39 students who received an APA of 4.5 or higher in their Semester One report.  

Congratulations to all the boys who were recognised with certificates. As we continue with Semester Two, we look forward to supporting each boy on their journey and pursuit of personal excellence.

Junior School Open Day

Last Wednesday, we threw open the doors of our Junior School and welcomed more than 300 prospective families to experience all that our College has to offer. Despite the cold weather, there was a wonderful sense of enthusiasm and excitement throughout the day. 

A sincere thank you to all the families who attended. We appreciated the opportunity to connect with you and look forward to welcoming many of you into our Trinity College community in the future. 

Morning Drop-Off

Mornings can be a whirlwind. Between finding missing shoes, locating that all-important lunch box, and making it to school before the bell, it's easy to feel like you're competing in an Olympic event! Afternoons can be just as busy, with everyone eager to get home after a long day. With this in mind, we'd like to remind all families that student safety remains our highest priority during these peak drop-off and pick-up times. 

To help keep our community safe and traffic flowing smoothly, we ask all families to observe the following: 

• Please adhere to the College speed limit of 10 km/h. It may feel slower than your morning coffee kicks in, but it helps keep everyone safe. 

• Drive carefully through the Main Driveway and the roundabout near the white canopy/umbrella. 

• Do not drop boys off between the roundabout and the Pavilion. This is dangerous and disrupts the flow of traffic. 

• Do not use staff parking bays for drop-off or pick-up. 

Thank you for your patience, cooperation, and shared commitment to keeping our students safe. By working together and following the signage and road rules, we can ensure that everyone arrives and departs safely, with far less stress and considerably fewer "Where are my keys?" Moments. 

Please also note that there is no teacher supervision after school at the white canopy/umbrella area. All Junior School students should wait in the designated Junior School area until they are collected.

Head of Junior School Forum 

A final reminder that all parents are invited to attend the HOJS forum. This term’s discussion will be held on Friday 14 August (Week 4). This will be an opportunity to discuss current initiatives in the Junior School. Additionally, it will also provide an opportunity for parents to ask questions about anything they have regarding the programs within the Junior School. This will be held at 2.30pm in the Junior School Science room. 

Homework Club Afternoon Tea and Cafe Reminder 

A reminder to parents that our Café now offers the option to pre-order Afternoon Tea through the Flexischools app. Afternoon Tea includes a muffin and a juice for $8.00 and will be delivered to the Junior School on the afternoon you select. Simply place your order via the Flexischools app before the relevant cut-off time to have Afternoon Tea delivered to your child. 

Performing Arts Festival Reminder  

The 37th Annual Performing Arts Festival for Catholic Schools & Colleges has now begun, with many of our students proudly representing the College. The festival will run from Friday, 24 July to Friday, 5 September 2026 across a range of venues. 

Please keep an eye on your inbox for emails from Ms Lisa Krogh (Performing Arts Administration), who will provide important information regarding performance schedules, venues and arrival times. 

For all performances, students are required to wear their full winter uniform, without their jumper. Please note that, despite the uniform requirements listed on the festival schedule, the music tie is not compulsory for our Junior School students. 

If your child is timetabled to wear their sports uniform on the day of a performance, they should come to school dressed in their full formal winter uniform and bring their sports uniform to change into later in the day. This will help ensure formal uniforms are not accidentally left at home when they are needed for festival performances.
