Year 10 Real Estate Guest Speaker

Our Year 10 Business students recently participated in an engaging Real Estate incursion, gaining valuable insight into the property industry.

We welcomed Maigen Norman, a representative from LJ Hooker Real Estate, who shared her expertise on how the real estate industry operates. The session was student-led, where students asked questions on a broad range of areas ranging from local market conditions, areas of growth, factors determining the value of a home and general property investment tips.

The session also explored the qualities of good real estate agents and how they nurture client relationships, use marketing strategies, and respond to changes in the housing market.

A number of students were inspired by this talk to pursue a career in real estate and are exploring opportunities of attending work placement at LJ Hooker.

We want to thank Maigen for sharing her expertise and for her continued support in our students' learning.

Sundai Kofu Junior High School Visit

In Week 7, Endeavour College welcomed fourteen students from our sister school, Sundai Kofu Junior High School.

We last connected with them in 2024, and it was a pleasure to welcome them back to our community.

During their visit, the students mainly shadowed their Endeavour buddies in regular classes, gaining insight into everyday school life. They also took part in a range of specialist lessons, including Pysical Education and Food Technology, allowing them to experience different aspects of our curriculum.

The Sundai students also joined several Japanese lessons, where they actively supported Endeavour students in practicing and improving their spoken Japanese.

In addition, they attended our Athletics Carnival, which was a completely different experience from a traditional Japanese sports day. They enjoyed observing and participating in our unique school traditions and were excited to see the strong Village spirit on display.

Throughout the week, students from both schools were enthusiastic and welcoming, and it was wonderful to see meaningful friendships and cultural connections develop.

Experiences such as this provide valuable opportunities for students to learn from one another and deepen their understanding of different cultures.

We look forward to welcoming our Sundai partners again in 2028 at Endeavour, as our sister-school relationship continues to flourish.

Harmony Day

Today we celebrate Harmony Day, recognising and embracing the rich diversity that makes up our school community.

With students representing a wide range of cultures, languages and traditions, our College is a place where everyone belongs and feels comfortable being themselves.

At Endeavour, 226 students out of 759 students speak a language other than English.

We're blessed with diversity and proud to celebrate the many cultures that shape who we are as a community.

Harmony Day reminds us of the importance of respect, inclusion and understanding, and encourages each of us to play our part in creating a welcoming and supportive environment for all.
