Learning Conversations
Learning Conversations for Years 7-11 have been scheduled for Wednesday, 8 April, 3:30pm – 7:30pm, and additionally for Year 7 families on Thursday, 9 April, 1:30pm – 5:00pm.
Year 7 Students and Families
Year 7 students and families will meet with one of the student's core teachers for a student-led Learning Conversation.
In the allotted time (15 minutes), students will give an overview of their learning so far this year. They will have completed a survey that focuses on their growing independence and the skills they are developing as their learning journey continues. There will also be time for specific discussion about the student's progress in their core subjects. Should Year 7 parents wish to discuss the progress of their child outside of the core subjects, please email those teachers directly.
Year 8 - 12 Student and Families
Students, parents and caregivers have the opportunity to meet with subject teachers to discuss progress so far in Term 1. This offers a chance for celebrate success and to focus on areas where improvements could be made. It is a valuable time for parents, students and teachers to come together. Should your child have one teacher for multiple subjects it is only necessary to make a booking once, where all subjects can be discussed. We strongly encourage students to attend these conversations; they are not required to wear uniform.
Please refer to the email due for distribution early next week for instructions on how to book via TASS.
Parents and caregivers are encouraged to regularly check Canvas for a picture of their child's progress and feedback for individual assessment items. If you are having trouble accessing either Canvas or TASS please contact the College.
