Two Bays Walking Track

On Monday the 6th of May, 9OE2, Mr. Patton and Ms. Russell embarked on an overnight journey on the Two Bays Walking Track. Over the course of two days, the students walked approximately 28km through some of the Mornington Peninsula's best landscapes. Starting at the beach in McCrae, students ventured up over Arthurs Seat, through Waterfall Gully, into Greens Bush and camped at Lightwood Creek for the night.

The following day they continued through Greens Bush and down to Bushrangers Bay before making the final push to Cape Schanck. Along their journey they discovered the importance of Leave No Trace principles, the variety of flora and fauna that call SE Victoria home and developed strong connections with themselves and others. Overall, it was an amazing hike that students will be talking about for many years to come.
