ATHLETICS DAY AT MESC

What a wonderful day we had for athletics with the sun shining and everyone in high spirits. As we have come to expect, our year 12 cohort made it their own with costumes and colour, but the star of the show was as always, our competitors. 

We had another year of success breaking our participation record once again. It is always pleasing to see so many students getting involved no matter the result, this is always the most important things for us as a College community, however, at the end of the day there is always winners and losers. 

Congratulations to Warringa for the second year in a row just beating out Kimmuli for a thrilling finish coming down to relay results. Manyung then came in 3rd place closely followed by Kirrang in 4th. 

Our individual athletes have since competed at the district carnival whereby again we have to mention record participation levels, with many making it through to regionals which is held later on in the year. We would like to also thank all staff who helped out on the day, it is always a team effort.
