POSITIVE PARENTING PROGRAM

Triple P is an Australian evidence-based parenting program based on more than 35 years of research and development and running in more than 25 countries around the World. The aim is to empower parents with effective and positive parenting strategies that improve family interactions and harmony. The course will teach the parents, in a fun and supportive environment, how to manage their children’s behaviour to both change misbehaviour and to prevent it, as proven by research.

Hello South Melbourne Park Primary School,

Orchestra Victoria are presenting a musical Storytime concert in collaboration with The Wheeler Centre these school holidays, and we would like to offer a community discount to families and staff at South Melbourne Park Primary School. The performances are running Thursday – Saturday in the second week of the school holidays at The Wheeler Centre. Families can access a 10% discount using the code TOMORROW10 before selecting ticket types, and discounted ones will appear.

Tomorrow is a Brand-New Day is an uplifting tribute to learning and growing – to making mistakes and making amends. Hard days come and go, but love is with us always.

Set to the sounds of wind and percussion instruments, this new work brings Davina Bell and Allison Colpoys’ charming picture book to life with a score by Alan John. This is the latest in Orchestra Victoria’s series of concerts for families that tell Australian stories through musical adaptions of acclaimed children’s books.

This relaxed, interactive musical Storytime invites children to participate in the storytelling and discover the sounds of different musical instruments. Narrated by beloved storyteller Janet McLeod, this is a perfect first musical experience for young people aged 5-8. Young (and young at heart) readers and music-lovers will be singing and dancing all the way home.
