Annual Concert – Monday 18 August

It has been an exceptionally busy time for the Music Department as we make our final preparations for the Annual Concert. Our choirs are in fine voice and our instrumental ensembles are sounding amazing. 

Those joining us for the concert are sure to enjoy a spectacular evening showcasing the diverse talent of our Performing Arts students.

Friday Soiree Performance

At our Friday Soiree last week, an appreciative audience enjoyed a range of performances from our Piano, Violin, Voice, Flute, and Speech and Drama students. 

Well done to all the students who performed! There will be another Friday Soiree held on Friday 12 September, with sign-ups opening soon. Please contact Mr Abell for further details.

Victorian School Music Festival – Tuesday 26 August

The Kilvington Concert Band will be performing at the Victorian School Music Festival on Tuesday 26 August. The band will depart Kilvington at 2.30pm, and return around 7.00pm. Parents and friends are welcome to attend the performance at Hawthorn Arts Centre.

String Concert – Change in date

Please note that the date of the String Concert has been changed to avoid coinciding with the Years 3 and 4 camp. The String Concert will now be held on Wednesday 3 September, commencing at 6.30pm in the Sports Centre.

Melbourne Youth Orchestra 2026 Summer School

Join over 800 young musicians for an inspirational week of musical discoveries, engaging workshops and performances with the Melbourne Youth Orchestra (MYO).

Monash University Day of Brass – Sunday 21 September

Monash University will host a Brass Day on Sunday 21 September at the Sir Zelman Cowen School of Music and Performance.
