Celebrating Heritage Achievement
Congratulations to Ethan Boytt (11.7), who proudly represented Trinity College in the Phillip Pendal Young Heritage Award, conducted by the City of South Perth Historical Society.
As a South Perth resident, Ethan was eligible to enter this prestigious local competition and found himself competing against a strong field of students from primary and secondary schools across the area. His entry, a written and photographic presentation exploring the life of beloved Australian children's author and illustrator May Gibbs and her childhood years in South Perth, impressed the judging panel and earned him a place among the competition finalists.
At the award ceremony last night, Ethan was recognised for his outstanding work, receiving both a cash prize and the Judges' Encouragement Award. This is a wonderful achievement and a testament to the quality of his research, writing and creative presentation.
Adding to this success, the Historical Society has chosen to continue displaying Ethan's exhibition panel into next year as part of its celebrations marking May Gibbs' 150th anniversary. This is a significant honour and reflects the value of Ethan's contribution to preserving and sharing local history.
We congratulate Ethan on this well-deserved recognition. His achievement demonstrates the importance of curiosity, research and storytelling in bringing history to life. We look forward to seeing where his passion for learning and discovery takes him next.
Exam Boost Workshops & October ATAR Revision
Year 7 Walk-A-Thon
On Friday 18 September, Year 7 students will fundraise for Br Ollie’s 'Wheelchairs for Kids' by completing a Walk-A-Thon from Trinity College to Optus Stadium and return.
Students will head off in PCG groups to complete the course and answer/solve certain questions along the way. Students will need to work together and be observant during the walk to complete the activity to the best of their ability. The challenge for the students is to work as a team to be the most accurate and efficient PCG.
Help encourage the students to raise (at least) $5 each in supporting this worthwhile charity! Simply click the button below to sponsor a walker.

Class of 2027 - TCPC Legacy Graduation Pavers

The Class of 2027 (current Year 11s) is invited to be part of the TC Parent Council’s ‘Legacy Graduation Paver’ Fundraiser!
This fundraiser was first launched last year by the TCPC, and saw recent Graduating Classes invited to purchase a paver in the initial run. Now, it's time for the Class of 2027 to get involved. For only $100 per paver, you can leave your mark on the Trinity College grounds, all while raising funds to support the TCPC’s efforts to enhance the buildings, grounds and programs at the school – for all students.

Sales close: 3.00pm, Thursday 24 September
This is the only opportunity for the Class of 2027 to purchase a paver; if you miss the cut-off, you miss out!
- The purchase of a Legacy Graduation Paver is not a tax-deductible donation.
- The pavers will be laid on the walkway outside the Sports Centre/pool area at TC’s East Perth campus. (Laid) pavers from previous Graduating Year Levels can be viewed at this location.
The production of the pavers is being managed by the TC Parent Council, not the TC Uniform Shop. Please direct all paver queries to tcparentcouncil@gmail.com
