Last week a note was emailed to each family about the Parish Levy. Thank you to those families who have already supported the parish with payment of the Levy. If your child is making a sacrament this year you will not be required to make further payment as the Parish Levy covers the cost of the sacrament.
If you have paid the levy you will be able to select your Eucharist Date immediately.
The amount of the levy is $200 per family per year and is not charged if you are already participating in the Parish Stewardship Programme. If you wish to join that programme, please contact the Parish office. This levy is consistent with other parishes and schools and is designed to make contributions to the Parish more streamlined. The Archdiocese has advised that we are no longer able to send the weekly newsletter as an attachment to subscription emails due to technical issues. The Parish newsletter will be uploaded weekly to the Web. In light of this, there will be no more weekly emails. Go to the Parish website www.holyspiritparish.org.au and our Parish page will open up. Scroll down to “The Word – Newsletter Weekly”, click on it then scroll down to the issue date that you wish to open. The latest version will be at the top. Click on that date and The Word will open up. Happy Reading!!
Enjoy the upcoming Labour Day Long Weekend.
Blessings from the Parish House.
