Last Tuesday saw Holy Trinity host the first ever 2-11 Swimming carnival at the new Inverell Aquatic Centre. The day was a fantastic success for our students, and a huge thank you to all the families who came along to support our students. A big congratulations must also go to all our students who competed and participated in such a wonderful way, and the overall behaviour on the day.

There was some outstanding swimming across all the age groups, with 33 of our students qualifying for the Dio carnival in week 5. We will announce the overall house champions at an upcoming whole school assembly, however a huge congratulations to the below individuals for their success in the race for Age Champions:

Upcoming Armidale Diocesan Primary Winter Sport Trials

Trials for the ACS Rugby League, Netball, Hockey, and Soccer teams will be held in Armidale on Friday, 6 March.

Due to restrictions on the number of students we can send, we will be holding internal school trials during Snack in Week 5 to finalise our teams. If you are interested in representing the school, please ensure you:

  • Provide consent via the Compass event by this Friday.

Further details can be found on Compass.

Polding Cricket Representation

Good luck to Ava Coleman, who is competing this week in the NSWPSSA Girls Cricket Championship in Armidale. Representing the Polding team at this level is a significant achievement and a testament to her hard work. We wish Ava and her teammates the very best of luck in the tournament.
