Year 7 Boys Netball - Friday 1st May
Hi, my name is Josh and today we all went to play netball and represented Brinbeal Secondary College, it was very fun and our team did amazing. Everybody in the team had a good time and we came second place after beating Doherty's Creek P-9. We were faced with challenges in our first game, however, quickly adapted to techniques others used and showed great team work. Aarav and Daniel were amazing in making goals. Armaan, Anveer, Samdeesh and Solomon showed some great defence skills. We did very well and won both of our first games by a lot. We did really well and it was a very social event and very fun I think I had fun and I met a lot of people I had met before and it was nice to see them again and compete and see there skills in netball.

Year 7 Badminton - Tuesday 19th May
Today we went to Eagle Stadium to compete against other schools for districts badminton. We won some matches and lost some but in the end, even if we didn't make it into the next level, we still made a lot of memories, some good, some bad. We met so many amazing people and overall the day was a joy to be able to attend and incredibly memorable.

As we went in all of us were nervous, thinking we would not win any games. After we just came in we straight went into practice rallys. We first went against Truganina, and Brinbeal won all the singles and doubles. We versed so many more schools and came 5th place. We really enjoyed playing badminton and had a lot of fun. I am also so proud of my team.

Year 8 Badminton - Friday 22nd May
Our students had a fantastic day at Eagle Stadium today, representing the college in badminton matches against other schools in the community. Students demonstrated great sportsmanship, teamwork, and resilience throughout the competition, while also showcasing their badminton skills and positive attitudes. It was wonderful to see students encouraging one another and proudly representing the school both on and off the court. Well done to all students who participated!
Today, we played badminton against three schools at the Eagle Stadium. First we played against Dohertys Creek College. Although we put up a lot of effort, we lost in the end. In our second round, we played against Baden Powell College. This time, we tried out hardest and managed to scrape 2/6 wins, both in our singles matches. In our final round, we played with Good News Lutheran College and sadly, lost all of our matches against them. Even though we didn’t place first overall we had a great time and improved relations between our schools.

On the 22nd of May, Brinbeal Secondary College came second out of seven schools. We played incredibly well, and although it was stressful, it was also satisfying to see us compete and win our matches. In the end, we played against Good News in the finals and sadly lost. I believe we would have had the chance to win first place with more practice. It was a fun day as we all shared smiles, laughs, and jokes together. Overall, BBSC did an amazing job.

Today was fun. We played against three schools in the Tarneit region. First, we played against Doherty’s Creek College. It was a hard match, and we lost. In the second match, we played against Baden Powell College. It was also a difficult match, and we lost that one too. Our third match was against Good News. It was the hardest match, and we lost that one as well. However, the good thing is that we had fun and tried our best.
