Torquay Library School Holiday Programs

Torquay Library will be buzzing over the January School Holidays, with plenty of programs on offer for kids and youth of all ages. The theme these holidays is Curious and Creative!

The annual Big Summer Read is now up and running until the 31st January 2026. This is a Victorian state-wide reading program, promoting and encouraging children to continue reading over School Holidays to address the ‘summer slide’, which refers to the decline of literacy skills over holidays when children are often less likely to read. The Big Summer Read is a fun and dynamic campaign that can be accessed online, or paper logs are available if required.
