School Photos - Date Error

There was an error in the previous newsletter about the School Photo Day date - apologies for any confusion. SGPS Photo Day will be in early Term 2 on Wednesday 24th April. The date in last fortnights' newsletter was the original date but this had to be changed due to a clash with NAPLAN. The flyer you need to place a photo order with Leading Image School Photography will be sent home later this term. 

Chronicle Entries in Compass

An important feature of Compass that we wanted to highlight with families this week are Chronicle entries, which created by our staff. 'Chronicles' provide information for families relating to a variety of things at school. These include: 

- when your child has been attended to in Sickbay

- Attendance flags, i.e. late arrivals, early departures or absences

- if your child is receiving an Award on assembly

- when Individual Education Plans are uploaded (in December)

- when a teacher has created a Student Achievement notification, celebrating the awesome work of your child/ren.
