Athletics Day

On Wednesday the 14th August, grade 3-6 had their athletics carnival at Ballam Park Athletics Track. The students spent the day competing in shot put, discus, 100m sprint, hurdles and long jump. Our students who were successful will represent the school during the District Athletics trials on Wednesday the 11th September. We wish those students competing good luck!

Basketball Day

On Wednesday the 28th August we sent our basketball teams to face-off against other teams from our district during the District Lighting Premiership Day. Students had a great day and we even had a match with two of our teams versing each other! A huge thank you to the teachers and parents who came down to support our students.

Prep Funky Farm Excursion

3R and 1A have been inventing table games for wet weather days. They are such creative legends! 

Year 1 Maths

Year 1 are learning about subtraction and the concept of take away. They drew their own shark scenario and the shark ate the fish to create a subtraction equation! So much fun! 

Year 1 Information Reports

So proud of the skills of our year 1 students when researching for their information report about a marine animal! The jump in improvement since the start of the year for all of them is mind boggling! 

Bottle Drive

Since we began collecting the 10cent bottles, we have donated 324 to the Mornington Rotary Club! These funds then get donated to various charities they work with. This is a fabulous effort since we have only been doing this for a term! Please remember to bring any 10cent bottles in and place them in the blue bin outside the classroom.
