Sporting

PHSC students have been busy in term  3 with their sporting achievements!

Senior Boys AFL Regional Finals:

Fantastic effort from this team, 3rd place overall finish with a couple of key players out of the side. Showed great team work, spirit and resilience !

State XC:

We had a great representation at the state XC with 8 athletes participating across the day, Alfie Webb finished an astonishing 3rd overall in the state which is incredible ! All students were fantastic on the day and a great representation of our school !

Senior Boys Table Tennis Regional Finals:

The first every regional table tennis were fantastic ! Only falling short to the 2x state champions Ilim college who were extremely complimentary of the skill level of our students. Huge effort boys, well done !

Senior Girls Soccer Regional RUNNERS UP:

The girls put on an excellent display of football and should be extremely proud! Winning 5-0, 1-0 and a 0-0 to make it to the final against Northcote. In a gallant effort the girls lost 3-0 to an experienced side.  Our team is made up of year 9, 10, 11 and 12s and with only 1 sub for the day meant all players had little opportunity to rest. It is the furthest we have gone in soccer for the female division and our team displayed great character and fight with their efforts !

Luca Dryden State SSV AFL u15:

Luca was recently selected for the State SSV AFL u15s as the youngest player in the side. Luca played in the School Sport Australia Games in the Gold Coast last week, Victoria came 2nd overall losing in the final to WA. A huge achievement to be selected and represent Victoria, well done Luca !
