Looking Forward to a Wonderful Term 3

Dear Families,

Welcome to Term 3!

I trust that you enjoyed a refreshing break and had the opportunity to spend quality time with family and friends. As we begin a new term, we do so with excitement and anticipation for the many learning opportunities, experiences and community events that await us.

Term 3 promises to be busy and rewarding for our students. We are particularly looking forward to celebrating learning through our class assemblies, supporting students as they participate in swimming programs and camps, and sharing in the joy and creativity of Book Week – Symphony of Stories. Later in the term, we are excited to showcase student innovation through the Stage 4 Entrepreneurial Enterprise Business Expo, as well as welcoming the wider community, families and friends to our first ever Open School morning - More details about this exciting event will be shared soon.

These events, along with our regular worship gatherings, provide wonderful opportunities to celebrate learning, strengthen community connections and encourage our students as they grow academically, socially and spiritually.

I would also like to draw your attention to the letter that was sent to families during the holidays regarding updates to our communication practices. As outlined in the letter, the school will no longer feature the faces of children on our public social media platforms or in our fortnightly school newsletter. Moving forward, photos taken at school events and activities will be made available through a secure, closed platform, or through Seesaw. We look forward to sharing further details with you as this platform becomes available.

Videos of school events and celebrations will continue to be password protected and shared via the private section of our school website, allowing families to safely enjoy and celebrate these special moments with their children.

Thank you for your ongoing support and partnership. Together, we continue to build a nurturing, Christ-centred community where every child is known, valued and encouraged to reach their God-given potential. I look forward to all that we will achieve together throughout Term 3.

As we begin this new term, may you be encouraged by the words of Scripture:

"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." Galatians 6:9

May God bless you and your family as we journey through another wonderful term together.

Blessings,

Evie
